Much of the recent discussion about Lakers superstar LeBron James has centered around the GOAT discussion with Michael Jordan, as well as his perceived incoming decline. However, James has continued to show that when healthy, he is still not ready to pass the torch or let anyone take his throne. James scored 39 points in the Lakers’ 124-116 OT win over the Indiana Pacers, showing that the King can still carry the load offensively when called upon, just as he has done the entirety of his illustrious career.

  • LeBron outscored the Pacers 8-4 in OT as the Lakers grabbed a much-needed win on the road
  • More GP (7) with 30+ PTS/5+ AST/5+ REB/5+ 3PM after turning 35 as all other players age-35+ in history COMBINED (4)
  • Most career GP w/ 30+ PTS & 5+ AST in NBA history: 1. LeBron James (395)^, 2. Michael Jordan (314), 3. James Harden (261)^

Odds vs. SAC: LAL -340 (Spread -7.5)

LEBRON JAMES’ A-GAME IS STILL UP THERE WITH ANYONE AT ALMOST 37 YEARS OLD

Even in his 19th season, LeBron James is continuing to show the game that puts him on the Mount Rushmore of basketball. The 4x NBA champion, 4x MVP, and 4x NBA Finals MVP has continued to produce when called upon, showcasing his skills as a shooter, driver and facilitator. Whether that can lead to another Lakers championship this season is to be determined, as it will take time to bring along their new supporting cast and establish a fit alongside Westbrook and Anthony Davis.
