Here are some interesting money trends that showcase some tendencies that have occurred recently and could reveal a valuable investment for NFL Wild Card Weekend.

Game: Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (currently at TB -9.5)

TREND: Gronk has and always will be Tom’s guy

  • OVER REC YDS: 7-4 (64%) over his last 11 game

Rob Gronkowski has been on fire the past two weeks averaging 10 targets, 7 receptions, and 126 yards per game. With Antonio Brown, Chris Godwin, and Cyril Grayson being out, Gronk’s target share should skyrocket. Add in the fact that Philadelphia has let up the seventh most yards to tight ends this season. As usual, Gronk is set up to be Brady’s go to guy on Playoff Sunday.

Pick: Rob Gronkowski OVER 56.5 receiving yards (-115)

Game: Las Vegas Raiders @ Cincinnati Bengals (currently at CIN -5.5)

TREND: Bengals are hot at the right time

  • ATS: 4-1 (80%) over the last 5 weeks

Joe Burrow plays lights out in must win games (6-0 going back to 2019 @LSU), averaging an insane 444 YPG, 27 TDs, and 0 INTs. Cincinnati won by 20 the last time these teams played. Maybe things are a little different with the Raiders riding late-season momentum, but no duo is hotter entering the postseason than Burrow & Ja’Marr Chase

Pick: CIN -5.5 (-110)

Game: New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills (currently at O/U 44.5)

TREND: Buffalo unders in January

  • UNDER: 7-3 (70%) over the last 10 games played in January

Buffalo ended up with the top ranked scoring defense and now go against Mac Jones in his first ever playoff game. Game time weather is expected to be below five degrees and Bill Belichick will have his defense ready for the playoffs. This matchup could look very similar to the first game between these two with the weather being a factor.

Pick: Under 44.5 (-110)

Game: San Francisco 49ers @ Dallas Cowboys (currently at DAL -3.5)

TREND: 49ers finishing hot

  • ATS: 4-1 (80%) over the last 5 weeks

San Francisco is known for using motion on offense to confuse the defense, using it on a league-leading 46% of plays this season. Dallas on the other hand allows 6.1 YPC to teams using motion, the third most in the league. Kyle Shanahan is surely going to mix it up to keep Dan Quinn and the Dallas defense on their toes.

Pick: SF +3.5 (-110)

Game: Arizona Cardinals @ Los Angeles Rams (currently at O/U 49.5)

TREND: These teams love to score against each other

  • OVER: 4-1 (80%) over the last 5 games against each other

Both of these offenses are stout, averaging over 26 PPG this season. Kyler Murray is back healthy and Matt Stafford has all of the weapons he needs. These are two of the best offensive gurus and Quarterbacks in the NFL going back and forth trying to outmatch one another with their seasons on the line.

Pick: Over 49.5 (-110)
