Rescheduled due to QB Cam Newton’s positive COVID-19 test, the Patriots vs. Chiefs matchup instead played on Monday night alongside the Packers-Falcons Monday Night Football game. The Chiefs and Packers entered Week 4 looking to continue their hot streaks and certainly did as each reached 4-0 over a Patriots team without their starting QB and a winless Falcons team, which might be looking at a coaching change after struggling all season.

Packers TE Robert Tonyan had a huge game in the absence of GB’s lead WRs Davante Adams and Allen Lazard with a 3-TD performance. The TE position was a question mark for the Packers entering the season, but Tonyan showed that he could take the reins as Green Bay’s TE1.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ defense dominated and took advantage of the New England Patriots in Cam Newton’s absence due to COVID-19, forcing three INTs and four total TOs as they cruised to a 26-10 win.

The Patriots had a chance to at least potentially tie the game before halftime, but QB Brian Hoyer made a costly mistake as he took a sack with no timeouts left and just seconds left in the half.

In addition to Honey Badger’s pick-six (highlighted above), Julian Edelman also dropped a ball earlier in the game. However, this deflected ball landed right in his teammate’s hand for the unexpected completion on third down.

The Patriots struggled in the QB department against the Chiefs’ defense, but each QB made some nice plays to show that NE could at least be serviceable in Cam’s absence.

Chiefs HC Andy Reid reached deep into the playbook on both of these TDs proving that he is one of the best play-callers in the NFL.

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers stayed undefeated on Monday night, with the Chiefs beating the Patriots 26-10 and the Packers taking down the winless Falcons 30-16. The Chiefs remain at the top of the AFC, dominating Bill Belichick’s Pats on both sides of the ball in a game that was rescheduled due to QB Cam Newton’s positive COVID-19 test late last week.

Green Bay saw what Robert Tonyan can do when given an opportunity and continued their offensive dominance as Aaron Rodgers finished with 307 yds and 4 TD passes. This is a team that could be very dangerous down the stretch as they continue to get healthier, especially since their bye is next week and players will have extra time to recover.
