Myles Garrett racked up 4.5 sacks this week against the Chicago Bears, setting a Browns franchise record. The team had a total of nine sacks, half of which coming from the elite defensive end. Garrett is a freak pass rusher that can go against any Offensive Lineman in the NFL and make him look like a joke. If Garrett continues to play like he did against Chicago, he could further develop a rising Browns defense that is beginning to seep into its potential and cement his own legacy as the best Browns defender ever.

MYLES GARRETT IS PLAYING AT A HIGHER LEVEL THAN ANY BROWNS DEFENDER EVER

The Cleveland Browns were one of the worst teams in the NFL prior to the 2017 NFL draft. Since then, after adding #1 overall pick Myles Garrett, the Browns have been an up-and-coming team. Garrett, along with Baker Mayfield and Head Coach Kevin Stefanski, has transformed the Browns culture into a winning one. Garrett’s most recent feat, against the Chicago Bears, was notching 4.5 sacks, a Browns franchise record as he helped the defense make more team history.

Garrett continues to rack up the accolades and will likely win at least one Defensive Player of the Year award in the near future. He has as much talent as any defensive lineman in the league besides Aaron Donald, and he could get into that ’99 overall’ on Madden tier soon. Garrett is still just 25 years old and he could not only develop into the best defensive player in the NFL but the greatest in Browns history. Cleveland now has a fantastic pass-rushing unit with Garrett, Jadeveon Clowney, and Takk McKinley.
