Brooklyn successfully defended their first two home court games after a near 40-point blowout in Game 2. Kevin Durant led all scorers with 32 points, and nobody on the Bucks even put up 20 points. The Nets struggled defensively all season but have really picked it up in the playoffs as they held the highest-scoring offense to only 86 points. Additionally, Giannis and the Bucks really struggled from beyond the arc, shooting below 30% again. It was the opposite story for Brooklyn, who made a playoff franchise-record 21 3PA on 50% 3P.

NOBODY’S PLAYED AT A MVP LEVEL AFTER SUFFERING THE WORST INJURY IN SPORTS UNTIL NOW

COLORS KEY | FULL NETS OUTLOOK

The Slim Reaper suffered a torn achilles, the worst injury in sports, during the 2019 NBA Finals which led to him missing the entire 2019-20 season. This is extremely difficult to come back from but KD looks like he hasn’t missed a beat. He averaged 26.9 PPG during his first season back, his most since the 2015-16 campaign, and is the fifth leading scorer in this year’s postseason. His 32-pt outing on Monday has Brooklyn up 2-0 in the conference semifinals, with hopes of a ring on the way. This injury has ended many athletes’ careers, but Durant has never looked better during his first year back, which could be his most impressive feat yet.
