The New England Patriots updated Team Outlook after the team inked former Miami Dolphins’ TE Mike Gesicki to a one-year deal worth up to $9M. Gesicki saw his role diminished in Mike McDaniel’s offense, as his numbers plummeted from 73 catches for 780 yards in 2021 to 32 catches for 362 yards in 2022. This is the second straight one-year deal for the 27-year-old, as he played out his final season with the Dolphins while on the franchise tag. Additionally, the Patriots released CB Jalen Mills in a move that will save the team about $5M on the salary cap.
