Here is the best from August 20, 2019:

After placing Nomar Mazara on the IL, Texas announced it would call up Nick Solak for his Major League debut. Less than 24 hours later, Solak is the hottest name in Texas after collecting his 1st career hit, HR, and walk-off all in the same day. A debut to remember for sure.

Out of the premier candidates from the 2016 draft class that could be extended by Dallas (i.e. Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott), the Cowboys went with the LB who they drafted in the 2nd round back in 2016, despite tearing his ACL in his last college game. They’ve been rewarded for their decision with outstanding production from Smith who has now earned his reward for his fantastic performance.

Starling Marte showed off his skills on both sides of the ball late in the game to seal the victory against the hottest team in baseball.

The Antonio Brown saga took center stage on Hard Knocks, but that wasn’t the only takeaway from this week’s episode.

Mike Trout has never hit more than 41 bombs in one season..until 2019 as he’s having a career year. Crazy to think the best player in the game is getting even better.

Bo Bichette is already the 1st person ever to do a lot of things at the big league level. Add an elusive multi-HR game vs. one of the game’s best pitchers EVER to the list.

Clayton Kershaw and Andrew Heaney haven’t had much in common throughout their careers besides being left-handed pitchers in Los Angeles, but on Tuesday night, they both accomplished milestones they won’t soon forget.

The Bucks exceeded many of the expectations put on them at the beginning of the season, as not many people expected them to own the NBA’s best record and be the home of the Most Valuable Player. Milwaukee clearly now has one of the brightest futures in the NBA.

Nobody has ever hit more HRs as George Springer has as the leadoff hitter over the 1st 6 years of their career. Very few were even close.
