Here is the best from February 26, 2020:

Jimmy Butler had a tumultuous ending during his time in Minnesota and was hoping to end their game vs. the KAT-less Wolves on a high note. However, DLo and two other Wolves combined to reject Butler’s GW-layup attempt and completed their double-digit comeback in the 4th quarter.

After back-to-back 50-point games from Bradley Beal, the Nets pulled out all the stops that included a box-and-one defensive scheme. However, Kenny Atkinson’s strategy and Spencer Dinwiddie’s clutch layup weren’t enough as Jerome Robinson drained the GW-3pt before Dinwiddie missed what would’ve been an epic buzzer beater.

Georgia SG Anthony Edwards is the prime candidate to go 1st overall in the 2020 NBA Draft and had the best game of his collegiate career on Wednesday.

Luka Doncic’s birthday is on Friday and he’ll celebrate his 21st year of life as a triple-double legend already.

James Harden & Russell Wesbtrook each dropped 30 points in the same game for the 7th time this season, tying the guard record the Splash Bros set in their historic 2015-16 season.

Technically Derrick Jones Jr. is the only dunk champion among these three players, but Aaron Gordon probably deserved that title this year more, and nobody thinks Dennis Smith Jr. was a Slam Dunk participant as well.

Josh Richardson has a reputation as a high-quality defender in the NBA, but Collin Sexton crossed him right off the screen.

Jayson Tatum vs. Donovan Mitchell in primetime lived up to expectations as the two dueled in the 1st half until Tatum’s Celtics pulled away in the 2nd.

The New York Giants made moves on Wednesday to rid themselves of cap space by cutting their 2019 defensive leader LB Alec Ogletree and EDGE Kareem Martin. The story here is the bigger picture as the Giants under new HC Joe Judge have a real chance to make some noise this offseason with a premium pick in the Draft and one of the largest cap spaces in the league. Don’t sleep on the Giants adding some high-caliber pieces, getting better production out of Barkley and Jones, and creating a winning environment under the former Pats assistant to kick off the new decade.

Unlike the Giants, who have won 2 Championships in the past 15 years, New York fans don’t have nearly as much patience with the Knicks. Well here comes new President of Basketball Operations Leon Rose who hopes to save the mess in the Big Apple and usher in a new era of Championship-caliber basketball to the Empire State.
