Here is the best from January 5, 2020:

The last three seasons for New Orleans have ended on the very last play of the game. After last year’s controversial no-call, the league created new rules to avoid that problem from happening again. While this instance took place on the offensive side of the ball, here we are again.

While the narrative surrounding Kirk Cousins was that he couldn’t deliver in big games, he completed the biggest throw of his NFL career on the game-winning drive in OT in Mercedes Benz Stadium. Which is ironic, considering Minnesota’s QB two years ago also completed the biggest pass of his career against the Saints on the last drive of a clutch Playoff victory.

DK Metcalf was the Player of the Day on Sunday after a phenomenal Playoff debut that proved to be the difference in a low-scoring Wild Card game.

Carson Wentz’ early NFL career has been defined by injuries, which ironically led to Philadelphia’s sole Super Bowl victory a couple years ago. Wentz got hurt before each of Philly’s last two Playoff runs. This year, he was finally going to make his Postseason debut, but suffered a concussion just eight snaps into the game.
