Here is the best from January 28, 2020:

Kobe’s sudden passing has left a major void in the sports community that might never be filled. Former teammates, fellow sports icons, and others are continuing to honor the Black Mamba.

Khris Middleton made history with his phenomenal performance vs. DC without their MVP available. A performance like this should scare the rest of the NBA, even it is against the worst defense in the league.

Joel Embiid was heavily inspired by Kobe Bryant as a kid coming from Africa (similar to Bryant’s journey from Italy) and aspired to dominate the NBA one day like Kobe did. A couple days after Kobe’s passing, Embiid got Philly legend Bobby Jones’ approval to wear his retired #24 jersey in Philly to honor Kobe’s legacy, the impact he’s had on him, and solidified it with his 24th and final point coming on a signature Kobe Bryant midrange fadeaway. He yelled “KOBE!”

Kyle Lowry has an argument to be considered the greatest Toronto Raptor of all-time, and that statement became much more realistic on Tuesday after Lowry passed Jose Calderon as the all-time franchise assists leader.

Without Jayson Tatum, Boston became the 1st team in the Eastern Conference to beat the Heat in Miami (20-3).

Ja Morant is one of the few young stars in the NBA that has legitimate MVP potential and continued to show flashes of that on Tuesday with this amazing sequence.

The Wiz gave up 150 points for a FOURTH time this season, but Bradley Beal still did his part on the offensive side. If DC doesn’t get him some help soon, their best player could be wearing a different jersey.

The Pelicans have one of the best young cores in the league with Zion, Ingram, Lonzo, etc., but Jaxson Hayes gets left out. If he keeps making plays like this, it won’t be long until Hayes is seen as a core young member for NOLA.

Dillon Brooks is proving to be the x-factor for this young Grizzlies team that has their eyes on the 8th seed in the West. When he balls out like this, the Grizzlies typically win.

The Hornets aren’t much of a threat in 2019-20, but these young guns are showing the future could be bright in Charlotte with a few more pieces.
