‘The Best in Sports’ is a daily PSO original series showcasing the best highlights, facts, and stories going on in the land of the NFL, NBA, & MLB every day. Get a recap on EVERYTHING that happened yesterday here.
The Ravens & Chargers earned statement victories in Week 9 against the two biggest Super Bowl favorites entering the week. Baltimore & LA could be emerging as Super Bowl threats themselves if this momentum carries on through the rest of the season.
The Browns could’ve saved their season on Sunday, but lost once again. This time it was Brandon Allen getting his 1st NFL start that defeated Cleveland. The Browns 2019 season is essentially in the garbage now.
Mitchell Trubisky & the Bears gained 9 yards in the entire 1st half. NINE! He was able to hit a WIDE-OPEN Taylor Gabriel for 50+ yards (that should’ve been a TD with a more accurate throw), but his performance didn’t get much better. Fans are wondering if trading up for Trubisky with Patrick Mahomes & Deshaun Watson still on the board a few years ago will go down as one of the worst GM draft decisions in sports history.
A couple days after Luka & LeBron set triple-double history as opponents facing each other, they both continued their triple-double streaks against different opposition.
#PlayerOfTheDay Russell Wilson re-took over the No.1 spot in the MVP rankings after Rodgers faltered & Wilson lighted the Buccs up for 400 YDS, 5 TD, 0 INT, & the GW-TD in OT. Seattle is now 7-2 & 2 wins away from their 8th straight winning season since drafting Russ https://t.co/770tJvpTdx
