The Chiefs and Ravens squared off for the third time in Patrick Mahomes’ and Lamar Jackson’s young career and one former MVP deeply overshadowed the other. Andy Reid was deeply chasing the AFC’s one seed as the Chiefs brought out all the wild calls. Doc Rivers is out as the head coach in LA and the MLB is gearing up for the beginning of the 2020 postseason.

This MNF matchup was being hyped up as the game of the year and although it got off to a slow start, the game of the year didn’t disappoint. A lot of Chiefs players woke up ready to perform and some key Ravens struggled throughout the night which led to KC’s third consecutive win over Baltimore.

When it came to QBs, the battle between Mahomes and Lamar wasn’t even close on MNF as Mahomes came out firing on all cylinders and Lamar was struggling to move the ball down the field. The KC Cannon had all the motivation to outshine Lamar Jackson as he not only lost the MVP in 2019 but was also rated lower by his peers on the NFL 100.

The Clippers have a lot of work to do to replace Doc Rivers who has never been fired as an NBA HC and is one of the most influential player coaches in the game. Rivers finishes his Clippers tenure with a 356-208 record (63.1%) and never missed the playoffs in seven years as LA’s Head Coach, but ultimately failed to meet expectations this season while coaching a stacked LAC roster.

The greatest offensive mind in NFL history knew how important this victory would be for potentially finishing with the No.1 seed and the only Playoff BYE in the AFC and completely dialed up the Ravens elite defense in a relatively lopsided performance.

The 2020 MLB season is officially over as all 30 ball clubs have played their 60 games and 16 await their postseason fate. With this being the first 60-game season in MLB History, everyone expected to see some surprising stat leaders and that prediction definitely didn’t disappoint.

Former Texas Longhorn Devin Duvernay showed his big-play ability by getting the Ravens on the board with a long Kick Return TD that marked the only KR-TD of 2020 so far. Duvernay scored the only Ravens TD in the first half and is the only reason Baltimore stood a chance for as long as they did.

The Chiefs defense was highly underrated coming into the season and Steve Spagnuolo’s group shutdown one of the most prolific offenses with Lamar under helm. KC’s defense was led by highlight plays from Chris Jones strip sack and the ability of the Chiefs corners to lockdown Baltimore despite multiple injuries.

Lamar Jackson won the 2019 MVP thanks to his overall abilities as a QB, but his rare productivity with his feet is what makes NFL defenses so worrisome of Big Truzz. Even in a disappointing performance, Lamar made some highlight plays worthy of recognition.

Two big bodied Defensive Lineman went down with Biceps injuries that will most likely cost them the rest of the season. Longtime Tennessee Titan Jurrell Casey was traded this offseason to Denver and Matt Ioannidis was in the first year of his three year extension.

The Atlanta Falcons cannot get anything going in the second half of football games and maybe fans can assist with keeping this team together. The Falcons joined the cause of NFL franchises that are slowly but surely opening their stadiums up for fans. As more teams find success with keeping COVID out of their facilities, other teams continue to join ship that could potentially have all 32 squads hosting fans by the end of the season.

Most Valuable Intel: The Brooklyn Nets have gone all-in on a championship for the second time in the franchise’s short history and Kyrie Irving explained this team needs another piece. Jrue Holiday could be the perfect two-way player Brooklyn is looking for even though Holiday is listed at 6’3, he can guard positions 1-3 at an elite level and could take a lot of pressure off Kyrie and KD on both ends of the floor.
