December 15th, 2021 was remembered for one of the wildest endings in a NBA arena as Devonte’ Graham drained the longest (61 ft) GW buzzer-beater in 25+ years just seconds after Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tied it up on a crazy 3PM of his own. Anthony Edwards became the youngest NBA player with 10+ 3PM in a game while breaking the franchise 3-point record as well. Austin Reaves stepped up as the Lakers hero with a GW-3PM in OT and Gordon Hayward had a historic 40-point game for the Hornets.

The Utah Jazz brought in former Celtics GM Danny Ainge to oversee basketball operations. The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to play great basketball as a top-four seed in the East right now while DeAndre Hopkins’ injury significantly impacts Arizona’s Super Bowl chances. Damian Lillard, Eric Bledsoe, and Jordan Clarkson all added top plays. 12/15/21 also marked a historic day in basketball with all the incredible individual performances and late game-winners.

See what happened in sports on December 15th last year, headlined by Giannis Antetokounmpo signing a monster contract extension with the Bucks that led to Milwaukee’s first championship in 50 years and Kyle Guy draining a GW-3PM to take down the Warriors in a preseason game as well as what happened in sports on December 15th, 2019 ft. Julio Jones‘ buzzer-beater REC TD to upset the 49ers in a huge game.
