The Splash Brothers had their best game together in over two and a half years as they shined in Golden State’s win over Minnesota. The Denver Broncos hired Packers OC Nathaniel Hackett and Chicago named Colts DC Matt Eberflus as their new Head Coaches.

2000: New England Patriots named Bill Belichick as the team’s new HC just weeks after the Jets hired him to be their new HC. The Pats would give up a 2000 1st Rd Pick to receive the rights to hire Belichick who would go on to win a NFL record 6 Super Bowls for New England 

1991: Led by backup QB Jeff Hostetler, New York Giants won their 2nd Super Bowl 20-19 over the Buffalo Bills as K Scott Norwood missed a 47-yard FG “wide right” to end the game. This became the 1st of 4 straight Bills Super Bowl losses

1956: New York Football Giants moved their home venue from the Polo Grounds to Yankee Stadium
