2004: Ken Griffey Jr. hit the 500th HR of his career on Father’s Day with his Dad Ken Griffey Sr. in the crowd. He’s currently at 7th all-time with 630 career home runs. 

2003: Miguel Cabrera recorded his 1st career hit in his MLB debut, a walk-off home run in the 11th inning as the Florida Marlins defeated the Tampa Bay Rays

1998: Sammy Sosa hit his 16th HR in the month of June to set the MLB record. He ended the month with 20 as the all-time most HR hit by a player in any single month

1993: Chicago Bulls PG John Paxson hit the GW-3PM with 3.9 sec left in NBA Finals Game 6 to clinch Chicago’s 3rd consecutive championship by beating the Phoenix Suns in MVP Charles Barkley‘s only career trip to the Championship. Michael Jordan scored the most PPG (41.3) in NBA Finals history
