March 18th, 2022 was remembered for Deshaun Watson’s shocking decision to pick Cleveland instead of Atlanta or New Orleans amidst Baker Mayfield’s trade request as the Browns offered a record-breaking $230M fully guaranteed contract in addition to three first round picks, a third, and fourth to acquire the 3x Pro Bowl QB. The other big NFL signing on Friday was WR JuJu Smith-Schuster inking a $10M deal with the Kansas City Chiefs while Carolina added 4x All-Pro P Johnny Hekker and extended WR D.J. Moore.
