October 11th, 2020 could be remembered as the last time EVER that all three of the major pro sports  (NFL, NBA, MLB) have games on the same day since the NBA might not start new seasons until December going forward. Whether sports fans see games from all three major sports on the same day again or not, they’ll certainly remember this day for Game 6 of the NBA Finals where LeBron James led the Lakers to a blowout title-clinching victory that made its mark on some significant record books.

Tampa Bay Rays beat the Houston Astros in a tight ALCS Game 1 as Randy Arozarena stayed hot with ANOTHER dinger. Finally, NFL Sunday in Week 5 witnessed the reigning AFC & NFC champion get upset by 2019 non-playoff teams while Russell Wilson’s epic comeback on SNF and Alex Smith’s remarkable return to the field were suppressed by the devastating ankle injury to Dallas Cowboys franchise QB Dak Prescott earlier in the evening. Check out everything that happened in sports on October 11th last year and the Best in Sports from exactly a year ago, headlined by a near no-hitter from Anibal Sanchez in NLCS Game 1.

This daily sports article includes real headlines only (no clickbait rumors), all of the best highlights, interesting facts from around the NFL, NBA, & MLB, the main games to watch, top performances of the day, significant birthdays, and a quick recap of notable events on this day in sports history. More content will be uploaded throughout the day.
