September 11, 2022 in sports was highlighted by NFL Week 1 Sunday, including the Steelers-Bengals OT thriller, Bucs-Cowboys on SNF, and Baker revenge game vs. Cleveland getting spoiled by a historic GW-FG. Patrick Mahomes torched Arizona, the Saints pulled off a big comeback against Atlanta, and Carson Wentz came through for the Commanders.
