Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have played together in the NFL for 11 seasons, nine with the New England Patriots and two with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady began his NFL career in 2000, playing without Gronk for his first 10 seasons until he was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2010 NFL Draft from the University of Arizona. The two have dominated opposing defenses since then, proving the be one of the most dangerous QB/Receiver combinations of all time.

COLORS KEY | FULL BUCCANEERS OUTLOOK

Throughout NFL history, there have been many outstanding QB-TE duos who have left their mark on the league. Some notable duos include Phillip RiversAntonio Gates, Tony RomoJason WittenJohn ElwayShannon SharpePatrick MahomesTravis Kelce, and of course Tom Brady & Rob Gronkowski. For a short period of time, Rivers & Gates were recognized as the best duo in NFL history, with the two combining for 90 TD, the most for a QB-TE duo until Brady and Gronkowski surpassed that total.

Currently, Brady and Gronk have combined for 102 TD, most for a QB-TE duo and second for any QB-Receiver duo ever. But they aren’t done yet. Through 3 games this year, the pair have connected on 4 TD while boasting a 2-1 record. They also combined for the most REC TD in one season (2011) when they connected for 17, and hold the record for the most Playoff TDs by any QB-Receiver. No matter when these two retire, they’ve already solidified their spot in history as the greatest QB-TE combination of all time.
