The Miami Dolphins are a professional American football team based in South Florida area. The team was founded by Joe Robbie and began play in the American Football League (AFL) in 1966. The Dolphins joined the National Football League (NFL) as part of the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. The team has had a storied history, with many great players and coaches contributing to the team’s success over the years.
One of the most notable aspects of the Dolphins organization is their commitment to excellence. This is evident in the team’s numerous playoff appearances and two Super Bowl victories, including the only perfect NFL season ever. The Dolphins have had crucial moments in NFL history, between going undefeated, the Miami Miracle, or winning back-to-back Super Bowls. The Dolphins play in Hard Rock Stadium, located in the upper suburbs of Miami Gardens, Florida.
