October legends come out when it matters most. For Carlos Correa, he’s always been a spectacular contributor for the Astros. In Game 1 of the 2021 ALCS, Correa broke the record for go-ahead Home Runs in the 7th inning or later in postseason history. The star Shortstop is one of the most clutch postseason hitters of all-time and should have a robust free agent market after this season no matter how far the Astros go in the playoffs considering his consistent ability to deliver when it matters most.

CARLOS CORREA IS 1 OF THE MOST CLUTCH MLB POSTSEASON HITTERS OF ALL-TIME

COLORS KEY | FULL ASTROS OUTLOOK

Carlos Correa has a unique upper-cut swing and it has paid dividends throughout his career. The premier power bat just broke the record for the most MLB postseason go-ahead Home Runs in the 7th inning or later, proving he is one of the most clutch hitters in MLB Playoff history. Correa’s late inning heroics amplify a terrific Houston lineup that is one of the best units in Major League Baseball.

The Houston Astros have had a historic five year run that continues to live strong as they are now three Wins away from their third World Series in five years. Correa is one of their core pieces and one of their best contributors. He has a big power bat and can make highlight-reel plays at SS, both highly valuable traits to have. No matter where Correa goes during free agency this offseason, most likely not a return to Houston, he is going to have plenty of suitors and command a large contract that he deserves.
