The Buccaneers celebrated their 31-9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl via a pandemic-altered boat parade. It featured a number comical moments, especially from former New England buddies Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, who celebrated their fourth title together. Also, Zach LaVine had himself a monster performance in the Bulls win over New Orleans. LaVine, arguably the most underrated star in the NBA, is finally starting to receive the recognition he deserves while King James continues to come out victorious in OT during AD‘s absence.

Here is the best of the day from February 10, 2021:

Bucs enjoy one of the most memorable Super Bowl parades ever

The Buccaneers held a boat parade on Wednesday to celebrate their Super Bowl LV win as thousands of fans lined up around the Hillsborough River in Tampa, hoping to catch a glimpse of the champs celebrating the franchise’s first title since 2003. The parade was highlighted by several entertaining moments, most notably from Tom Brady.

Brady was seen tossing the Lombardi Trophy from his boat across the water to another boat full of Bucs players. And just like on the field, Brady’s pass was completed, this time to his shirtless TE Cameron Brate. Then, Brady tweeted a reaction to a video of him drunk being walked out after getting off the boat.

It wouldn’t be a party without Gronk doing Gronk things, as the legendary TE was feeling himself. Known for always having a good time, Rob Gronkowski was seen dancing on the side of his boat and nearly falling into the water. Like most parties, though, it didn’t go without any accidents, as WR Scotty Miller dropped fellow receiver Chris Godwin‘s phone into the river.

Head coach Bruce Arians vowed to keep LB Lavonte David and Godwin, who are both scheduled to be free agents. Both players were key pieces in the Bucs Super Bowl run and appear to be leaning towards re-signing, along with free agent EDGE Shaq Barrett, who has let his intention to return be known as well.

Arians also spoke of going for back-to-back next season with the same group in an explicit speech that captured his excitement. If Tampa Bay can come back mostly intact, there is no reason to believe they won’t be favored to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl next season and possibly win it all once again.

Zach LaVine is the greatest scorer Chicago has had since Michael Jordan

It’s difficult to compare any player to Michael Jordan, but what Zach LaVine is doing this season deserves to be recognized among the Chi-town greats. While he’s obviously no MJ, ‘Air LaVine’ is putting up over 28 points per game on an extremely efficient 52%/43%/85% shooting line. LaVine has played at an All-Star level for three seasons now but has yet to be named to the prestigious squad. That changes this year.

Considering the production LaVine has provided for Chicago, records he’s breaking in the Windy City, and winning plays he makes on a nightly basis, Bulls fans are witnessing the greatest scorer they’ve seen in the United Center since ‘His Airness’

LaVine made history again on Wednesday as he and Coby White became the first teammates to ever record eight 3PM or more each in the same game. LaVine was previously perceived as strictly a high-flyer but has developed his jump shot to the point it’s now among the best in the league as he drains 3.5 3’s per game on 43% shooting.

Derrick Rose‘s MVP season won’t be forgotten anytime soon and Jimmy Butler‘s two-way contributions during CHI’s most recent run of contending were hard to match, but no Bulls player has been able to score at the level and variety of LaVine since the greatest scorer of all-time.

He’s the main reason Chicago is staying competitive and is even one game out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, which is why he could be the next superstar to request a trade to a winning team. LaVine not only deserves to make his first All-Star Game this year, but warrants a spot on one of the three All-NBA teams, and recognition as one of the best scorers in the game.
