The Dodgers and Padres battled once again with their superstars taking center stage in another epic matchup between these two NL West teams that was highlighted by a second consecutive multi-HR game from Fernando Tatis Jr. against ANOTHER Cy Young winning pitcher.

Coby White showed he could join Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic as a Big 3 in Chicago once he reaches his potential after showing flashes with a 31-point performance. Michael Porter Jr. showed his lofty potential as well with a career-high, Bam Adebayo caught a body vs. Chicago, Spurs barely beat New Orleans, PSO released Justin Fields’ scouting report, and April 24th marks the day Eli Manning forced his way out of San Diego and was drafted to New York instead, changing the balance of the NFL for decades.

Fernando Tatis Jr. blasted 2 bombs and mocked reigning Cy Young winner Trevor Bauer

It seems like every game between the Dodgers and Padres this season has come down to the wire with exciting storylines across the board. Saturday was no different as MLB superstar Fernando Tatis Jr. belted two bombs off reigning NL Cy Young winner Trevor Bauer. However, the real story was what happened after he hit those dingers, as the $330M man remembered Bauer’s antics in Spring Training of closing one eye against San Diego, and decided to return the favor.

It didn’t stop there as the young phenom added another multi-HR game to his growing collection and decided to pull the McGregor walk as he touched home plate the second time around, another notorious antic of the polarizing Bauer. Arguably the most popular pitcher in baseball (at least on the internet) did that exact same McGregor walk after ringing up Tatis Jr. in a big spot during their matchup last week.

Tatis Jr. got the last laugh (for now) this time, but the Dodgers still got the win after Corey Seager‘s clutch RBI’s came after SD pulled Blake Snell in the 6th, a familiar feeling for the former AL Cy Young winner. Snell famously got pulled early during the 2020 World Series against LA, and felt some deja vu during their loss Saturday after the bullpen blew the lead he and Tatis built. With the season series now tied 3-3, all eyes are on these two electric teams for a highly-anticipated Sunday Night Baseball matchup

COBY WHITE COULD JOIN LAVINE & VUCEVIC AS A BIG 3 IN CHICAGO

The Chicago Bulls have been struggling to string wins together all season, but the performances of Coby White have given fans something to look forward to in the future. White is averaging 14.5 points per game in his sophomore season out of UNC, and just put together a 31-point performance against Miami.

The 21-year-old guard out of North Carolina has shown that he has the potential to become one of the league’s top playmaking guards in the future. With his offensive skills combined with Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic, Chicago has a potentially dangerous big three on their hands. Averaging 19.5 points per game over his last six outings, White has shown he can be an efficient scorer in this league, and can step up when LaVine is unable to play.

Paired with veteran coach Billy Donovan, White has the skills to be a household name in the NBA someday. With proven All-Stars on his team, he has every opportunity to get more open looks and blossom into a young star. If White can produce similar numbers as he did against Miami on a consistent basis, there is no reason to doubt that Chicago will have a formidable big three in the near future.
