1993: Trailing the Boston Red Sox 3-1 in the 9th inning, New York Yankees C Mike Stanley hit a pop fly for the final out, but a fan had run onto the field just before the pitch, forcing umpire Tim Welke to call a timeout, restoring the out, and NYY rallied for 3 runs to win the game

1992: Pittsburgh Pirates OF Barry Bonds reached the 30 HR-30 steal milestone for the 2nd time in his career, joining Willie Mays, Howard Johnson, Ron Gant, and his father (Bobby Bonds) as the only players to accomplish the feat in multiple seasons

1984: Montreal Expos OF Tim Raines became the very 1st player to record 4 consecutive seasons with 70+ stolen bases in MLB history 

1983: After 16 seasons in the NFL, the New Orleans Saints finally secured their 1st OT victory in franchise history by defeating the Bears 34-31
